Little Ol’ Me, a Northern Utah photographer traveled all the way to Oregon for this jaw-dropping family session on the beach!

These five humans have a super special place in my heart and I would have even traveled to Alaska for them if I had to (and we all know I hate the snow almost as much as I do snakes).

Where it all started

Cindy and I met in jr high and more specifically- probably gym class. We shared hatred for the gym, so the rest is history! HA!
Cindy met Mitch in jr high as well, she changed schools in 9th grade I think. We don’t talk about that part much.
And get ready….
They are clearly STILL together!!!

Cindy was my person, she was essentially adopted into my family and went with us everywhere! We vacationed/camped one time in Lava Hot Springs and went to this Renaissance attraction thing. If we talk about it still, we remember how god awful the dude smelled. He was taking it wayyyy back to renaissance times by ditching the deodorant and it wasn’t cool.

But, these two … aside from the fact that we’ve all known each other since the 7th grade, which was oh something like 20 years ago 🤔. This is the first time they’ve been in front of my camera 😱. I know, I’m appalled too. We’ve always been miles apart (which included that one time they packed up and moved WA without telling me), months between conversations, but we’ve never lost that initial connection that brought us together as best friends. Cindy and I have always been able to pick up where we’ve left off and Mitch has always been along for the ride. 🥰 These two are my favorite love story.

The Session

So when I planned this little road trip, I planned it with them in mind. Somehow I knew we’d make it work out and we’d see each other and we did. I left it up to Cindy to pick a location based on the area Id be in and she chose Hug Point along the Pacific Coast Highway in Oregon. It’s near the popular Haystack Rock/Cannon beach (which was on my to-list) and honestly, I think Hug Point was the absolute best choice and the most beautiful as well!

The beach wasn’t that packed and it was kinda chilly but it was everything I hoped it would be.
