Ogden Fresh 48 Utah // McKay Dee Hospital // Baby Daisy
Fresh 48 sessions mean I get to cuddle alllllll the new little squishes. And. I. LOVE. it!
Considering Daisy is my niece it was my duty to cuddle her no matter what, but no baby can escape the wrath of me, my cuddles, and my camera.
Cambree’s due date was fast approaching and we still had no baby or even a sign of a baby. This is the worst part of the process for me. The waiting. I’d rather sleep for days and wake up just in time than sit and wait and think ‘maybe we’ll have a baby today or maybe we won’t’.
This stems from my own pregnancies because my own pregnancies were both early. My daughter decided at 32 weeks she was done and burst into the world rather quickly. Then there were the twins, they let me think I’d go further with them, but not without the discomfort. They decided at 33 weeks when a patch of my stomach was so stretched it was numb that they too were done serving time on the inside. My mom never made it to her due date and my other sister had one 5 weeks early and the other was induced 1 week before his due date. Not Cambree though, her body liked to hold onto those babies right up to her due date. So naturally, Daisy waited. She did throw us for a curveball when she decided she would come on our grandmas birthday and wedding anniversary! Which was still within days of her due date. So that was fun! Cambree went from zero to baby in a matter of hours. Daisy wasn’t waiting for anybody at that point.
…and shes ready!
My mom made it into the delivery room about .05 seconds before Daisy pushed herself out! She came out with SO MUCH hair and sticking her tongue out. That tongue is always sticking out too – You’ll see just how much below!
